Grace Bales is a freelance artist based in the Chicago area who specializes in character design and illustration, with an interest in animation and motion graphics. She has an Associate's degree in Art from Waubonsee Community College and a Bachelor's degree in animation from DePaul University in Chicago IL. Grace has worked on a variety of projects including the as-yet unreleased mobile game "Unscrolled", Co-Directing and Animating the short film "Midwasteland", and illustrating the cover for the book "Why Does Mushy Have an Attitude?" by Antonetta L. Maxwell. She also enjoys working as a painting instructor at Pinot's Palette Naperville where she helps both skilled and new artists learn to make art.
